Under the general supervision of the Director of Community Partnerships and Prevention and in alignment with various stakeholders including the PMHI administrative leadership team, this role will partner with external stakeholders located at schools, pediatric primary care organizations and other community organizations to execute strategic priorities/programs including teen employers, afterschool programs, early childcare, and hospital settings. Outreach programs and education is a key strategy to assist partners in strengthening their pediatric mental health programs in communities across Colorado. The Program Manager collaborates with organizational stakeholders and partners with external stakeholders to foster the pediatric needs of the community.Additional InformationDepartment Name:Job Status: Pediatric Mental Health InstituteShift: Day, Hybrid.Duties & ResponsibilitiesPOPULATION SPECIFIC CARENo direct patient care.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSAn employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all the following essential functions. These examples do not include all the functions which the employee may be expected to perform.1. Manages the daily operations to ensure policies, procedures, and guidelines are being followed.2. Coordinates programs and services in specific regions of Colorado that are of strategic importance to PMHI3. Manages team of internal and external program staff (schools, primary care) to grow organization and successfully execute on key strategic priorities.4. Travels to regional markets to establish strong behavioral health connections, demonstrate partnerships and identify opportunities for program and service development.5. Lead program development activities for a branch of PMHI training offerings (schools, primary care, behavioral health, other trusted adult) including partnership development; outreach activities, including the development of outreach materials and relationship building.6. Develops, implements, and monitors policies related to outreach programs and outreach education. Manages and directs the development and implementation of methods to monitor and analyze outcomes, track project development and performance improvement for outreach programs.7. Works with senior leadership to develop and communicate departmental strategic plan and annual goals, ensuring team members are focused on priorities. Ensures the accomplishment of organizational goals and objectives to enhance clinical practice and professional growth.8. Collaboratively creates goals, identifies metrics, and evaluates data to determine effectiveness of program with community stakeholder groups.9. Represents the department in meetings with executives and leaders from other areas of the hospital and serves as a representative on various committees.10. Through stakeholder participation, actively informs and influences development of relevant state policies and regulations to facilitate effective integration of the Medicaid program with public health and population health approaches.11. Develops departmental budget recommendations, and monitors expenditures to ensure compliance with organizational financial goals. Ensures staff and financial resources are utilized appropriately and shifts resources to meet both patient and department needs within budget restraints.12.
