Manufacturing Engineer Technician III Job Family: General Manufacturing Engineering Job Profile Title: Manufacturing Engineering Technician III Location/ Division Specific Information- San Joe, CA/ Great Oaks/ S06 How will you make an Impact? -Working under general supervision and instruction, performs a variety of moderately difficult assignments requiring judgment to resolve. You will support the manufacturing process Surface Mount Technology (SMT) equipment, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure optimal machine performance during operations to meet production targets.What Will You Do?-u25cf Monitor SMT line performance, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency, quality, and yield.u25cf Applies substantial understanding of the job, knowledge and skill to complete a wide range of tasks. Receives little work instruction on daily work and general instructions on newly introduced assignments.u25cf Calibrate equipment using general and special purpose test equipment.u25cf Maintain sufficient data to develop process improvement initiatives.u25cf May assist in the development of work procedures.u25cf May maintain and store backup information for all critical production equipment software systems.u25cf Provide technical support to production operators, offering guidance and training on SMT equipment operation and basic troubleshooting.u25cf Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.u25cf May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. How Will You Get here? - Education: + Associate's degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience, is required Experience: u25cf Five (5) to eight (8) years prior work experience in SMT Equipment and Programming KNOWLEDGE, Skills and Abilities: u25cf Knowledge of company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks, including u nderstanding of safety practices requirements. u25cf Personal computer operation in a Windows environment (Excel, Word and PowerPoint and e-mail). u25cf Use of specialized programs u25cf Familiarity with IPC standards and quality control principles u25cf Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail u25cf Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team u25cfStrong understanding of SMT processes, equipment operation, and common defects Preferred Qualifications: + 8+ years of experience in SMT Equipment and Programming is preferred + Manufacturing experience is a plus + Bacheloru2019s Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics or other technical field is preferred The hourly pay range for this role is $29.86 - $53.80.
