Job Summary Prominence is seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Accountant to join our growing Finance/Accounting team. This role will independently own and/or support key accounting functions including Payroll, Accounts Payable, Cash Management/Treasury, Cost Accounting, and Balance Sheet Accounting. The ideal candidate will bring a strong sense of accountability, an analytical mindset, and a passion for detail that ensures accuracy across financial operations. + Support payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payroll runs and related journal entries. + Manage accounts payable and billing functions, including invoice processing and vendor payments. + Perform credit card and bank account categorization, ensuring proper classification of transactions. + Lead the bank reconciliation process, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner. + Execute general accounting responsibilities including balance sheet and accrual journal entries as part of the month-end close cycle. + Contribute to system migration projects, supporting data integrity and process continuity during transitions. + Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support audits, ad-hoc analysis, and continuous process improvement. Requirements Education, Training and Experience + 3u20135 years of accounting experience + Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. + Solid understanding of GAAP and core financial concepts. + Experience with SAGE Intacct is a plus Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities + Professional: Demonstrates a high degree of professionalism by treating others with respect, keeping commitments, building trust within the team, working with integrity, and upholding organizational values (
