Summary: Adjunct Faculty members are assigned specific courses to teach based on their specialty education and experience. This is a temporary, part-time position and Adjunct Faculty members may work as needed. Other information: Required Job Qualifications: u2022 Masteru2019s degree or earned Doctorate in applicable area to the profession required. A minimum of a Bacheloru2019s degree is required for Instructor-level roles. u2022 Excellent skills in classroom, laboratory, and/or clinical instruction and evaluation. u2022 Knowledge and experience with Web-Based education when applicable. u2022 Excellent communication and organizational abilities in managing class functions, clinical sites as applicable, and students. u2022 Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities. u2022 Ability to consistently instruct and counsel students in an informative and professional manner. u2022 Able and willing to learn new skills as needed, especially to work with new instructional technologies. u2022 Ability to develop and implement courses and programs. u2022 Ability to organize and implement effective teaching assignments. Responsibilities: Job Responsibilities: u2022 Develops and maintains courses, and other content areas in the curriculum in accordance with national accreditation standards. u2022 Instructs and assists in multiple courses in the program as assigned. u2022 Develops and seeks outcomes assessments for the program and courses taught. u2022 Interacts with existing programs in the department and teaches as assigned in these programs. u2022 Other duties as assigned.
