United States Suitability/Public Trust Fully remote Project/Program Management The Technical Product Manager is responsible for overseeing the full software development lifecycle for assigned products, in support of the VA Office of Connected Care. This position will a fully remote position located within the United States. Responsibilities + Manage the full software development process lifecycle for assigned product(s) + Facilitate strategy and prioritization discussions + Transform high-level vision into detailed action plans + Build and maintain the product roadmap, ensuring prioritization aligns with customer needs, technical feasibility and stakeholder input. + Collaborate with engineering, design, data, QA and operations teams to ensure product quality and delivery. + Lead and/or support sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint review and retrospective sessions in partnership with the development team(s). + Ensure continuous communication across cross-functional teams to remove blockers, track progress, and maintain alignment. + Partner with data teams to analyze product usage, optimize user experience, and define KPIs + Use Scrum Master experience or knowledge to foster agile best practices, improve team velocity and drive execution discipline. + Consult and coordinate with experts and cross-disciplinary teams to conduct discovery and establish clear requirements that meet user needs + Manage multiple projects, to include planning, risk management and mitigation, training and communication, regular status reporting, and associated documentation + Lead and participate in dynamic meetings with cross-functional teams, orchestrating discussions and ensuring clear objectives are met + Conceptualize, analyze, and advise clients on solution options to achieve their objectives + Work closely with strategic delivery partners, subcontractors, and vendors + Coordinate efforts across numerous teams through frequent and effective communication Qualifications Requ ired Skills and Experience + Bachelor's with 8+ years (or commensurate experience) + You have at least 7 years of experience applying product and/or or project management principles in a healthcare and/or technical environment. + Youu2019ll be responsible for managing a product, or a suite of products from requirements gathering through the testing and production release cycle. + You have helped build products or complex feature sets from the ground up, organizing efforts to incrementally deliver on product direction and goals. + You have excellent presentation skills to include building slide decks and effective communication with executive leadership. + You are strong in Agile Project Management methodologies and procedures. + You are proficient in use of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Agile Tools such as Jira. + You have a bacheloru2019s degree, and preferably also a masteru2019s and/or applicable certifications (PMP, ITIL, SAFe Agile). Clearance Required: Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance Preferred Skills and Experience + You can articulate the difference between product and project management and provide concrete examples of both. + You possess strong emotional intelligence, enabling you to tailor your communication style and convey technical concepts across interdisciplinary teams. + Prior experience working with or delivering solutions on the Appian platform. Posted Salary Range USD $150,000.00 - USD $160,000.00 /Yr.
