Weu2019re a progressive, growth-oriented manufacturing company looking for a Plant Controller who can own the financial heartbeat of the operation. This is a hands-on leadership role where youu2019ll drive accounting, costing, controls, and reporting, while partnering closely with Operations to improve performance. What Youu2019ll Own _Be the financial leader on the plant floor_ u2022 Act as a trusted advisor to Operations, not just a reporter of results u2022 Translate financial data into clear, actionable insights for plant leadership u2022 Connect production activity, labor, materials, and variances to real business outcomes _Drive accurate, disciplined manufacturing accounting_ u2022 Lead all plant accounting activities in compliance with U.S. GAAP u2022 Own monthly close, financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and audit coordination u2022 Ensure costing integrity across all systems, transactions, and SKUs u2022 Investigate and explain actual vs. standard variances with precision _Own inventory, costing, and controls_ u2022 Lead cycle counting and physical inventories with operational alignment u2022 Ensure work orders are fully burdened and aligned to the corporate cost model u2022 Strengthen and continuously improve internal controls across inventory and manufacturing u2022 Conduct ongoing audits of transactions and master data for accuracy and impact _Turn data into operational improvement_ u2022 Analyze cost of goods, run costing studies, and identify margin opportunities u2022 Lead process improvements using Lean tools (as-is / to-be flow mapping) u2022 Pull and analyze data from SQL and ERP systems to improve visibility and decision-making u2022 Partner cross-functionally to drive efficiency, cost reduction, and performance _Lead systems and continuous improvement_ u2022 Work within ERP (Infor Visual Manufacturing) and support transition to MS Dynamics 365 u2022 Recommend and implement system enhancements u2022 Develop and deliver ERP and process training to close gaps and elevate team capability _Build and develop your team_ u2022 Lead and coach the Cycle Counter / Inventory Analyst u2022 Set clear goals, develop capability, and raise the bar on performance u2022 Establish best practices across accounting, warehousing, and operations support What You Bring u2022 Bacheloru2019s (or Masteru2019s) in Accounting, Finance, or related field u2022 Proven experience as a Plant Controller or senior manufacturing finance leader u2022 Deep expertise in cost accounting within a process manufacturing environment u2022 Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP in manufacturing u2022 Experience working inside an ERP environment (Visual, SAP, Oracle, Epicor, D365, etc.) u2022 Advanced analytical skills. Comfortable pulling data from SQL and building models in Excel u2022 Ability to operate at both the strategic level and the transactional level u2022 Strong presence on the plant floor. You build relationships, ask questions, and influence outcomes Nice to have: u2022 CPA u2022 Experience with BI tools (QlikView, Power Query) u2022 ERP implementation or migration experience What Makes You Successful Here u2022 You donu2019t accept numbers at face value.
