Work with a team of dedicatedprofessionals focused on excellent customer service with no salescomponent. Base hours are all daytime hours with flexible start time.This position may have a rotating weekend schedule or scheduled on-callwith standby and call back compensation. The ideal candidate willpossess: Basic knowledge of the design, operation and functions ofbuilding mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems as they relate tobuilding HVAC-related systems A mechanical aptitude with a willingnessand desire to continue learning Basic knowledge of mechanicalmaintenance practices and occupational safety associated with theoperation, treatment and repairs of same Ability to read and utilizemechanical and electronic thermometers, multi-meters, pressure gaugesBasic understanding of electrical systems and service Basicunderstanding of plumbing systems Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot andcomplete basic level repair service on electrical, plumbing and HVACsystems. Experience with computerized database records or work ordersystem Knowledge of maintenance and repair of appliances and equipmentused for food preparation, commercial laundry equipment and basic homekitchen appliances Organizational and record keeping skills toprioritize and document work A desire to serve residents, staff andguests in University Housing Good communication and interpersonal skillsand exercise a strong sense of priority and time management. WorkSchedule: The primary schedule for this position is 8-hour shifts,Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7:00am - 6:00pm, with anon-call or weekend rotation as...
