Hybridu00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0Responsibilitiesu00a0u00a0u00a0Your key responsibilities include:Acts as the lead structural engineer responsible for: scoping the project, coordinating with other disciplines, obtaining necessary information to execute the work, and preparing conceptual designs, corrections to field issues as well as complete designsRequires an experienced, competent individual capable of successfully solving difficult problems that require creative solutions in structural steel, reinforced concrete, reinforced masonry, wood, and light-gage steel designsProvide technical design support to the design team including overseeing and assisting with the development of less-experienced engineersResponsible for the preparation and review of Contract Documents in compliance with the project program, building design, schedule and budgetu00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0Qualificationsu00a0u00a0u00a0To qualify for the role, you must have:BSCE in Structural Engineering from an accredited college or university8+ years related work experienceLicensed Engineer (at least one state) and NCEES Accredited (preferred)Strong computer skills in structural analysis programs, e.g., RAM software suite, ENERCALC, AutoCAD, Revit and competency with Microsoft Office Suite and BluebeamIdeally, you'll also have:Data Center experience is a plusPrecast, reinforced (tilt-up) concrete designSkills and attributes for success:Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization, and critical thinking skillsMastery of the model codesExhibits strong written and verbal communication abilitiesWorks independently with self-motivationu00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0EEO/AA Employer M/F/D/Vu00a0u00a0u00a0Carlson Design Group is an equal opportunity employer.
