Location Arlington VA- Pentagon Technical and Project Engineering, LLC (TAPE) is not your normal government contractor. JOB SUMMARY: Senior Analyst responsible for supporting HQDA G-37 Training Directorate, Institutional Training Division (HQDA/TRI) in support of Army Training. Provides analysis in support of development, analysis, and review of Army Training. Coordinates with stakeholders to consolidates the requirements providing the Training Directorate with complete information needed to make decisions and recommendations on requirements and funding levels. Continues as the subject matter expert on Institutional Training issues throughout the POM, BES, and President Budget Cycles. Evaluates training resource courses of action and Army leader decisions for impacts on training. Prepares and communicates information in support of Army decisions in areas involving training resources. Supports recurring HQDA Training meetings and conferences with administrative support and note-taking as required. Performs other duties as assigned. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: u2022 Supports HQDA G-37 Training Directorate, in the Pentagon in the development, analysis, and review of Army training requirements and policies. u2022 Completes and updates reports as needed. u2022 Supports data requests u2022 Provides analysis of Army training data as required. u2022 Provides support in the development of responses for OS W and Congressional inquiries. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: u2022 Four year degree (BA or BS) from an accredited university or college or 15 years Army Experience u2022 Experience in a field related to Army civilian or military training, doctrine, or resource management u2022 Secret clearance KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: u2022 Proficiency in MS Office Applications u2013 High level of proficiency in Excel u2022 Working knowledge of PPBE, MDEPs, and AMSCO structure preferred but not required u2022 Basic knowledge of mathematical methods and techniques u2022 Ability to perform basic mathematical computations u2022 Working knowledge of business English, spelling, grammar and punctuation u2022 Working knowledge of modern office practices, procedures, systems and equipment. u2022 Ability to understand and interpret Army policies and procedures u2022 Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing u2022 Ability to maintain poise and courtesy under pressure; to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion and tact u2022 Ability to organize and execute multiple assignments under specific time constraints with general instructions u2022 Ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
