In addition to competitive pay, we also offer: + Health benefits available Day 1 + 401k available Day 1 + 10+ paid holidays/year + Free HAZWOPER training and certification + Overtime opportunities + Ability to be cross-trained into different roles The Environmental Technician III is a key position in supervising that the details of everyday production are executed through effective communications within the team and outside teams, departments, etc. Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions): u00b7 Supervise segregation and packaging material for process along with the completion of required paperwork in a legible, accurate, and timely manner in accordance with appropriate regulations and Clean Earth policies, practices, and procedures u00b7 Separate and pack hazardous material for transport u00b7 Complete required paperwork in accordance with our practices and procedures u00b7 Collecting samples of inbound waste for laboratory analysis u00b7 Performs other reasonably related duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Ability to wear company provided personal protection equipment including eye protection, steel toed shoes, hard hat, gloves, Tyvek coveralls, and respirator u00b7 Must be 18 years of age or older u00b7 2+ years of prior experience working with hazardous materials u00b7 Have the ability to read, write and speak in English u00b7 Ability to operate equipment, including a forklift and pallet jack Preferred Qualifications: High School Diploma Preferred u00b7 2+ years of experience sampling and receiving hazardous waste u00b7 Has the ability to operate a powered industrial truck, e.g., forklift and possesses safe driving record. u00b7 Proficiency with Windows based programs (i.e. Excel and Word u00b7 Demonstrates knowledge of Hazardous Materials and OSHA Regulations u00b7 Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and RCRA Regulations u00b7 Bacheloru2019s degree in chemistry, Environmental Science, Biology or related field Additional Information Clean Earth offers competitive benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, life insurance and disability plans, as well as a 401k with company matching.
