ABOUT US Aliados Health (AH) is a network comprised of 17-member community health centers with sites in Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, Solano, Sonoma, and Yolo counties. Formed in 1994, Aliados Health strengthens the capacity of member health centers to act as a regional network of comprehensive primary care that provides access to consistently high-quality clinical care. POSITION SUMMARY Aliados Health is seeking a proactive and strategic Project Manager to join our consortium of 17 community health centers, focusing on Policy and External Affairs. The Project Manager will report to the Senior Program Manager, Climate Justice and Resilience. This role is both strategic and operational, requiring developing and executing daily project operations and responding efficiently to inquiries. The ideal candidate will be ready to manage ongoing high impact projects from day one. As a member of the Policy & External Affairs department, the Project Manager will collaborate with member community health center leadership, partner organizations and Aliados Health staff to achieve policy and advocacy goals. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Below are typical examples of work performed by this position, not a comprehensive inventory of all duties, tasks, and responsibilities. Employees may perform other duties as assigned. Lead the development of materials and activities for health center policy planning and strategic visioning processes. * Draft and coordinate Letters of Support for advocacy efforts. * Organize logistics and engage member health centers in advocacy actions and campaigns. * Plan and launch National Health Center Week events across the region, showcasing services and community impact. * Serve as lead representative of Aliados Health in coalitions addressing social determinants of health, including immigration, housing, climate change, and emergency preparedness. * Advocate for Aliados Health at local, state, and federal levels in external meetings and events. * Liaise with elected officials across our 6-county region to establish meetings with County Supervisors and health center site visits for policymakers, advancing Aliados Health's policy objectives and showcasing health center impact. * Implement and maintain CRM processes to track stakeholder engagement and document meetings with elected officials. * Create and distribute talking points, briefs, and policy materials to health centers and stakeholders. * Monitor and report on legislative bills relevant to Aliados Health and its members. * Support health care sustainability and emergency preparedness initiatives as needed. * Oversee project budgets, expense tracking, and grants compliance. * Execute special projects and additional duties, as assigned. Experience/Education * Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Health, Environmental Sciences, Business Administration, or related field is preferred. * Minimum two years' work experience with demonstrated success in project management. Requirements * Travel regularly within our 6-county region to external meetings and events, as well as to the state capitol in Sacramento. Physical Demands * While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, carry, drive, speak, keyboard, and hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment * Work is performed in a typical office environment as well as outside locations including member health centers, government buildings and community venues.
