Overview: Participates in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the left ventricular assist device (LVAD) program and the heart transplant program; to coordinate and manage the patient care of this high-risk patient population throughout the continuum. Qualifications: EducationGraduate from a nursing program Required Work Experience2 years of professional clinical experience Required Cardiovascular focus experience Preferred 1 year experience caring for LVAD patients and heart transplant patients Preferred Licenses and CertificationsRN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Required ACLS Required BCLS - Basic Life Support Required Business Unit : Company Name: Piedmont Atlanta Hospital
