The Opportunity We partner with manufacturers across Wayland seeking Continuous Improvement Managers who want more than a lateral move. Key Responsibilities Lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies. Identify, analyze, and prioritize opportunities for waste reduction and process optimization within manufacturing. Develop, implement, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness and sustainability of improvements. Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to employees on continuous improvement tools and principles. Standardize best practices and document improved processes to ensure consistent application and knowledge transfer. Drive a culture of problem-solving and proactive continuous improvement across all operational levels. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of improvement projects. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field. 5+ years of progressive experience in continuous improvement roles within a manufacturing environment. Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification required. Demonstrated expertise in applying Lean methodologies (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping) and Six Sigma tools. Proven ability to lead cross-functional improvement projects, drive cultural change, and deliver measurable results. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills. Bonus Qualifications Proficiency in statistical software such as Minitab, R, or Python for data analysis. Experience integrating Continuous Improvement principles with Industry 4.0 or automation initiatives. Certification in change management (e.g., Prosci). Advanced data visualization skills using tools like Tableau or Power BI.
