Job Description Responsibilities Opportunity - Full-Time, On-site Pembroke Hospital is seeking Full-Time, hour per week, Medical Biller to join our team. This is an on-site position. Pembroke Hospital is a -bed acute care, inpatient behavioral health facility located south of Boston, in Pembroke, MA. Situated on acres, we offer inpatient and partial hospitalization treatment to teens, adults and older adults, and our services are designed to assess, stabilize, and treat patients by addressing their primary symptoms and problems. The Medical Biller is responsible for providing timely billing, follow-up collections, and final resolution of assigned accounts. The Medical Biller ensures appropriate contractual adjustments are taken on accounts and research remittance advice to determine accurate payment levels are made by payers. The Medical Biller may work with Utilization Management to determine authorizations received on all managed accounts and communicates denials to overturn decisions timely. Qualifications Job Requirements: Two years’ experience in billing or collections. Positive attitude, flexibility, and ability to work with people is essential.
