Sugar Sanitation Crew (Rotating Shift)

The Sanitation Personnel performs general plant custodial duties.Perform general clean up tasks as listed on the daily clean up sheets for each shiftRecord completed tasks in KLEAZ and document other issues as necessaryFollow proper handling procedures for cleaning and other chemicals required for the positionOperate cleaning equipment including floor scrubbers, steamers, and industrial vacuumsClean snow from entrances and sidewalks as necessaryFollow proper procedures for cleaning of biohazard spills/accidentsFollow GMP proceduresMaintain and organize janitorial chemical inventoryMaintain equipment and tools required for clean upRefill the Sterilex mats as requiredUtilize tools to review and update safety data sheets as requiredUnderstand and operate with an awareness of cross contamination best practicesClean scrap areaOperate fork-lift equipmentIdentify areas that need attention and either address or report as necessaryPerform some assigned work from Master Sanitation Schedule as requested by supervisorPerform related duties as required by supervisorPeriodic travel requiredAble to read, analyze, and follow directionsMust be able to properly prioritize work responsibilities within assigned work areaMust be able to speak, listen, and effectively communicate with team members and actively participate in team/department meetings and initiativesMust be able to operate computers and learn programs associated with sanitation processes and safe chemical handlingMust be able to work following safety protocols for oneself and team membersMust be detail oriented with strong organizational skills with the ability to work well under pressureMust be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision​Must have full use of arms and legs, be able to stand on a continuous basis, and be able to climb stairs to access all areas of the plant and offices regularlyMust be able to safely lift to 75 pounds, bend, stoop, climb, reach regularly​Possess manual dexterity and use hands to grip, pinch, handle, reach, or feel on a regular basis​Walk on a frequent basis for up to 12 hours per daySigned off to pack a minimum number of sugar cone packsProven good work record and attendanceStarting from USD $22.13/Hr.
