Job Description We are seeking a Research Associate or Senior Research Associate to support routine and advanced mammalian cell culture and molecular biology work within a fast-growing, crossu2011disciplinary gene therapy team. This role is hands-on and labu2011focused, with opportunities to learn and contribute to cell engineering and viral vector workflows while supporting dayu2011tou2011day laboratory operations. Our team consists of creative bioengineers and synthetic biologists working closely with data scientists to develop cuttingu2011edge solutions in gene therapy. Key Responsibilities Cell Culture and Bench Work Perform routine mammalian cell culture and aseptic bench work Maintain multiple mammalian cell lines, including freezing, thawing, and cell banking Support routine assays of consistent types while maintaining high data quality Characterize cell lines using molecular and analytical techniques Molecular and Analytical Techniques Perform ddPCR, qPCR, and flow cytometry experiments Support basic molecular biology workflows including PCR, plasmid preparation, and bacterial transformation Assist with material transformation and media preparation in collaboration with the molecular biology team Viral Vector and Cell Engineering Support Support lentiviral or AAVu2011based workflows where applicable Contribute to viral vector characterization and cell line development efforts as experience allows Documentation and Communication Document experimental work clearly and accurately using Benchling Prepare data summaries and presentations that clearly communicate results Maintain high attention to detail to ensure traceability, reproducibility, and compliance We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
