Civil Engineer

Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Civil Engineer for an end client located in Spring Valley, NY. The Civil Engineer will support overhead transmission and substation projects by preparing civil designs, material specifications, and construction labor requirements. This role involves utilizing civil and structural engineering software to develop layouts, preliminary designs, and cost estimates, while applying civil site development practices such as grading, drainage, roadways, and rightu2011ofu2011way considerations. The engineer will take on project management duties such as coordinating with internal teams, contractors, consultants, manufacturers, and suppliers to ensure project performance, compliance, and timely execution. Responsibilities also include supporting EHV operations, reviewing maintenance designs, analyzing system issues, collaborating with real estate and community affairs on rightu2011ofu2011way matters, guiding design drafters, managing project budgets and schedules, and providing regular project status updates to leadership.
