Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant CNA Full Time ApplyRefer a FriendBack Job Details Requisition #: 214418 Location: Brookfield, WI 53005 Category: CNA Salary: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour Position Details Position Overview TheHospice CNA is responsible for providing personal care, household assistance and assistance with daily living activities that improve quality of life by allowing our patients to remain in their home while adhering to confidentiality standards and professional boundaries at all times Essential Job Functions u2022 Provide services that are ordered by the physician in the plan of care within the scope of practice per state law u2022 Perform, assist, evaluate and document medical care, such as: u2022 Basic first aid u2022 Read and record vital (temperature, pulse, respiration) u2022 Range of motion exercises u2022 Ambulation, transfer and positioning with wheelchairs and other non-life support medical equipment and devices u2022 Prepare meals according to dietary and nutritional needs u2022 Care for patientu2019s special conditions and needs within scope of authorized tasks u2022 Help patient maintain good personal hygiene, such as: u2022 Assistance with bathing, toileting, grooming, shaving, skin and nail care, oral hygiene, dressing and eating u2022 Assist with household management, such as: u2022 Home safety and sanitation u2022 Infection control u2022 General light housekeeping, laundry, and shopping specific to patient u2022 Thorough completion and coordination of all required documentation, such as: u2022 Maintaining and completing the necessary patient/family and Company documentation records upon conclusion of each visit u2022 Observe and report significant changes in patientu2019s condition to the (RN) Nursing Supervisor Requirements u2022 CNA certification (listed on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry) u2022 High school graduate or GED u2022 Current CPR certification u2022u200b Valid Driveru2019s License and Acceptable MVR As an employer accepting Medicare and Medicaid funds, employees must comply with all health-related requirements in all relevant jurisdictions, including required vaccinations and testing, subject to exemptions for medical or religious reasons as appropriate.
