Grant Accountant

Description We are looking for a Grant Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will manage various aspects of grant funding, ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively. Responsibilities: u2022 Oversee the financial management of grants, including tracking payments, monitoring expenditures, and generating detailed reports. u2022 Maintain accurate internal schedules for grant deliverables and ensure all deadlines are met. u2022 Prepare and upload required monthly financial reports to relevant organizations. u2022 Review and process travel and business expense reports for management approval. u2022 Code, track, and process expense invoices to ensure proper review and authorization. u2022 Assist in creating budgets and budget justifications for grant proposals. u2022 Collaborate on the preparation and review of grant applications to ensure accuracy and consistency. u2022 Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate timely and complete grant applications. u2022 Stay informed on industry standards by attending meetings and reviewing relevant publications. u2022 Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned to support the team. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. u2022 Familiarity with grant funding policies, procedures, and regulations. u2022 Proficiency in analyzing budgetary details to ensure compliance with financial guidelines. u2022 Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. u2022 Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail. u2022 Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines. u2022 Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with diverse stakeholders. u2022 Sound judgment in evaluating financial information and addressing compliance issues.
