Job Summary Construction Project Scheduler Are you looking to grow your career as a Project Scheduler? JoinThe Miller Electricteam and play a critical role in planning and managing complex construction projects. The Project Scheduler reports directly to the Senior Project Manager or Project Director and works closely with Project Field Leadership to understand project scope and developaccurateschedules based on team input, task relationships, and durations. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Essential Job Functions + Develop andmaintaincomprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6 and other scheduling tools. + Create Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and define activity relationships, constraints, and milestones. + Incorporate resource and cost loading (labor, equipment, and materials) into schedules foraccurateforecasting and earned value reporting. + Perform critical path analysis andidentifyschedule risks and recovery strategies. + Evaluate actual progress and provide regular schedule updates to stakeholders. + Coordinate with the General Contractor and key stakeholders to provideaccuratestatus updates based on the internal master schedule, ensuring alignment between internal and external reporting. + Prepare detailed schedule reports, variance analyses, and dashboards for stakeholders. + Perform forensic schedule analysis, including delay analysis, time impact studies, and root cause evaluations. + Support claims and dispute resolution with detailedscheduledocumentation and analysis. + Work with Field Leaders to create and refine look-ahead schedules and micro schedules for specific tasks. + Participate in weekly schedule updates with the General Contractor and report status based on internal updates. + Export schedule data between Primavera P6 and Smartsheet platforms. + Conduct QA/QC reviews of schedule submissions for compliance. + Assist Project Managers in creating short-term schedules andmonitortheir impact on the master schedule. + Perform schedule comparison and analysis betweenpreviousand current schedules toidentifyshifts. Qualifications Education & Experience Required: + Bacheloru2019s degree in electrical engineering, Construction Management, or related field. + 8+ years of experience in project scheduling for electrical or industrial projects + Expert-levelproficiencyin Primavera P6; experiencewith Smartsheet and other planning tools preferred. + Experience with resource loading, earned value management, and forensic schedule analysis. + Familiarity with Lean Construction practices (Last Planner System, Pull Planning). + Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Preferred: + On-site, mission-critical project experiencewithconstruction experience. + Experience with Smartsheet,Touchplan, or other construction planning software. + Knowledge of industry standards (AACE, PMI). + Familiarity with contractual requirements and claims processes. + Ability to mentor junior schedulers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
