Description Our customer specializes in 4 major telecommunications categories- LMR (Land Mobile Radio, IBS (in building systems, IDAS), ITS (Intelligent transportation systems), and Physical Security Our customer has a number of In building projects that they will work on over the next few years, this includes the construction and maintenance of in building wireless access points. They are currently supporting projects in the Federal, State and Local government, and education, transportation, venues/stadiums, and healthcare field. This scope specifically is for the Richmond, VA market where MCA is supporting DAS/low voltage installation, maintenance, RMA, public safety, fiber, coax, ODAS/IDAS, new builds, existing campuses, hospitals, schools, stadiums, etc. Home-base is Richmond, VA but candidates must be open to travel and overnight stays to the TN market. This will include an on-call rotation every 6-8 weeks. Resources must be open to travel with overnight stays being possible 4 nights at a time, coming back on the weekend. Will drive company vehicle, hotels covered, $65.00/day for per diem. Our customer is looking for a strong DAS Maintenance Technician that can support supports DAS maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, and warranty support across major university campuses, stadiums, commercial buildings, and publicu2011safety environments. The technician provides dayu20112 support after system turnu2011up and is responsible for longu2011term customer systems, RMA work, and maintenance for legacy DAS networks. OEM familiarity: JMA, Corning, Comba, CommScope Fiber testing & troubleshooting (Fluke, AFL, OTDR required) Fiber scoping and splicing required (single mode) There will be a 40 hour work week, with the opportunity for overtime . This position is specifically to support the IL market and is a long term FTE opportunity, running a 6-month CTH with a strong track record of conversion.
