AI Engineer III

Job Description Insight Global is seeking an AI Engineer III to design, develop, and deploy advanced machine learning and analytics solutions that address complex clinical and operational challenges and deliver measurable improvements in patient care, healthcare operations, and financial performance. This role supports the full lifecycle of predictive analytics, ML, and GenAI solutions while partnering closely with crossu2011functional teams across VCU Health. 8+ yearsu2019 experience using AI/ML technologies, 5+ yearsu2019 experience using Python, R, or SQL, and 2+ yearsu2019 experience using fullu2011stack machine learning engineering is required, along with experience working in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Additional required experience includes developing and deploying LLMu2011based agentic AI solutions using RAG or fineu2011tuning, evaluating models for performance and bias, building RESTful APIs, working with NLP and unstructured data, and using openu2011source ML frameworks. This role also includes mentoring junior engineers and promoting best practices in responsible AI. The salary for this position ranges from $105,000u2013$110,000, based on experience.
