THE JOB As the Ancillary Sales Manager at Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow VA, you will lead a team responsible for generating revenue through VIP upgrades, premier parking, lawn chair rentals, fast lane access, future ticket sales, and other upsell opportunities on show days. Your mission is to drive sales while ensuring an exceptional guest experience. This is a part-time, seasonal role (approximately April-November) that is primarily events-based on evenings, weekends, and holidays, and will include in-office pre and post-event responsibilities.WHAT YOU’LL DOMaximize Revenue & Guest SatisfactionOversee the execution of all upsell programs and ensure seamless guest interactionsContinuously analyze data and guest feedback to adjust pricing strategies and sales tacticsIdentify new revenue opportunities that enhance the fan experienceParticipate in the venue’s sustainability initiatives, helping to educate guests and staff on eco-friendly efforts while devising programs to reinforce these effortsLead & Develop a High-Performing TeamTrain and manage the Ancillary Sales team to be proactive, sales-focused, and guest-friendlyFoster a culture of innovation and experimentation with product salesProvide ongoing coaching to optimize sales performanceOperational ExcellenceCollaborate with venue leadership to ensure proper staffing and efficient operationsWork closely with the box office team to troubleshoot any issues with inventory, pricing, or guest concernsMaintain inventory of ancillary products (lawn chairs, merchandise, etc.) throughout the seasonSecure and reconcile day-of-show ancillary salesParticipate in the team’s post-show sweeps to include lawn chair removal and recyclables collectionOther related duties as assigned by managementWHAT YOU’LL BRINGRequired:A sales-driven mindset with a passion for increasing revenueStrong data analysis skills to identify trends and optimize sales strategiesInnovative thinking to develop and implement new revenue streamsA love for live music and being in the heart of the actionExcellent guest service and relationship-building skillLeadership experience, with the ability to motivate and manage a small teamStrong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with all levels of leadershipThe ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, outdoors, in all weather conditionsAvailability for all events and necessary pre- and post-event duties on non-event daysAbility to lift up to 25 pounds with proper lifting techniquesPreferred:Continued education, certification, or literacy business, or a related field is preferredExperience in event sales or in a live music settingPhysical Demands/Working Environment:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
