Cardiac Cath Lab Tech - Homestead, Florida

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available for a skilled imaging professional specializing as a Cath Lab Technician. This role is based in Homestead, FL, and offers a rewarding contract position within a dynamic cardiac catheterization unit. This Cath Lab environment operates with a dedicated team of 23 staff members caring for 33 beds on the second floor. You will work alongside experienced colleagues using advanced equipment such as MacLab, GE, and Philips systems, supported by Meditech documentation. The patient ratio is approximately 3:1, allowing for focused and quality patient care. The schedule includes day shifts with potential call requirements during evenings and weekends. Key Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures including coronary catheterizations, structural heart interventions, peripheral interventions, and electrophysiology support Operate and maintain cath lab imaging equipment ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team, demonstrating critical thinking and compassionate patient care Adhere to documentation protocols using the Meditech system to support clinical accuracy and regulatory compliance Qualifications and Experience: Current certifications in ACLS and BLS are mandatory Certification as Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) or Radiology Technologist essential Previous experience in a cath lab setting highly preferred Ability to adapt quickly within a fast-paced clinical environment and function independently as well as part of a team Location: Situated in the vibrant Homestead area of Florida, this position provides an opportunity to work in a hospital setting equipped with state-of-the-art technologies while enjoying the community’s warm climate, diverse culture, and access to outdoor activities.
