Job Title: Test EngineerJob Description As a Test Engineer, you will apply engineering principles, experiences, and various analysis tools to develop test plans and procedures for testing design parts and components in your area of specialty. Responsibilities + Create data settings, test specifications, and standards, and establish test schedules. + Prepare and set up test equipment, conduct moderately complex tests, and document and summarize test results. + Perform testing across all chassis sections, with a particular focus on brake testing. + Conduct both vehicle and component level hands-on testing at proving grounds and in labs/dynos. + Review, log, and analyze test data to make recommendations. + Collaborate with drivers and technicians. + Support process improvements and undertake miscellaneous tasks as needed. Essential Skills + Proficiency with test equipment and test engineering. + Experience in the automotive industry, particularly with electrical systems and drivetrain components. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Work Environment The role involves working in both TRC and ADC environments, requiring frequent travel between these locations. This position provides a great opportunity to gain skills for entry to mid-level candidates. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Raymond, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $36.06/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
