Description We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in Woodridge, Illinois. In this role, you will be the primary contact for sales representatives and customers, ensuring seamless order management and exceptional service. This is a Contract to permanent position within the agriculture industry, offering an opportunity to grow and collaborate with a dynamic team. Responsibilities: u2022 Serve as the first point of contact for customers and sales representatives, providing expert guidance on order processes. u2022 Oversee the entire lifecycle of orders, including entry, vendor confirmations, tracking, claims, returns, and necessary adjustments. u2022 Maintain accurate records and perform transactions using order management software and the company's B2B website. u2022 Ensure the integrity of customer accounts throughout the year by managing orders, shipping details, pricing, and resolving claims. u2022 Compile and distribute sales reports to sales representatives and customers upon request. u2022 Communicate important deadlines and vendor updates to customers while fostering positive relationships with all stakeholders. u2022 Handle high volumes of inbound and outbound calls, efficiently resolving customer inquiries and prioritizing tasks. u2022 Offer solutions and recommendations to address customer issues and improve processes. u2022 Support team members regularly and assist in other departments or special projects as needed. u2022 Participate in system testing, provide training, and identify areas for improvement to enhance customer satisfaction. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in a call center or similar environment. u2022 Proficiency in order entry and management systems. u2022 Strong ability to handle inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and efficiency. u2022 Experience managing high-volume data entry with exceptional attention to detail. u2022 Proven track record of resolving customer issues and delivering high-quality service. u2022 Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. u2022 Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. u2022 Familiarity with the agriculture industry or related fields is a plus.
