Job Title: Maintenance Technician 1st shift - $32-$30 Job Description The Maintenance Technician is responsible for implementing the Maintenance Program and overseeing the maintenance and repair of facilities, machinery, and equipment across multiple plants. This role works closely with other maintenance team members, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all production and facility equipment. Responsibilities + Perform all preventive maintenance activities according to scheduled events for all plants and accurately track results. + Maintain facilities and grounds, coordinating and managing contract services and repairs as needed. + Collaborate with the maintenance leadership team to prioritize and resolve all requests for maintenance and repair services. + Provide technical support, training, and troubleshooting assistance to manufacturing employees on production and ancillary equipment. + Interpret and apply information from operational manuals, manufacturer specifications, blueprints, and schematics for manufacturing and support equipment. + Maintain detailed machine repair and maintenance records to support reliability and compliance. + Manage appropriate inventory levels of spare parts while adhering to budgetary guidelines. + Evaluate and make recommendations on the condition, usefulness, and replacement needs of machinery and equipment. + Coordinate and work with external vendors for painting and structural repairs to buildings, equipment, masonry, woodwork, and furnishings. + Inspect completed work to ensure conformance with blueprints, specifications, and quality standards. Work Environment The role is based in a large-scale manufacturing facility focused on metal fabrication and metal stamping. You will work around fabrication equipment, CNC machinery, and other industrial production systems, using tools and technologies common to industrial maintenance, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems. The environment is fast-paced and production-driven, with frequent interaction with manufacturing staff, maintenance colleagues, and external vendors. Work may involve moving between multiple plants and working in areas with active machinery, noise, and typical industrial conditions. Appropriate work attire and personal protective equipment are required to ensure safety in the production and maintenance areas.
