Sr. Accountant

Description Senior Accountant Salary Range: $90,000 u2013 $110,000 annually Position Summary The Senior Accountant will play a key role in the financial operations of a multiu2011entity organization, supporting accurate accounting, timely monthu2011end close, and reliable financial reporting. This role requires strong general accounting knowledge, handsu2011on experience with fixed assets, and the ability to manage a high volume of bank reconciliations across multiple accounts and entities. Key Responsibilities + Perform fullu2011cycle general accounting functions across multiple legal entities + Prepare and reconcile up to 60 bank accounts, researching and resolving discrepancies + Execute monthu2011end and yearu2011end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations + Maintain the fixed asset register, including additions, disposals, depreciation, and reconciliations + Prepare and analyze financial statements and supporting schedules + Record and reconcile intercompany transactions and eliminations + Support internal and external financial reporting requirements + Assist with audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries + Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy + Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company accounting policies Qualifications + Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting or Finance + 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a multiu2011entity environment + Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting + Proven experience managing highu2011volume bank and account reconciliations + Handsu2011on experience with fixed asset accounting + Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, lookups) + Experience with QuickBooks or any ERP system + Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines Benefits + Medical insurance with small employee contribution + 401(k) with 4% company match + PTO / CTO days + Sick days Requirements u2022 Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. u2022 Proven experience in month-end close processes and general ledger management. u2022 Proficiency in preparing journal entries and conducting account reconciliations. u2022 Strong knowledge of bank reconciliation processes and fixed asset management. u2022 Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and other accounting software. u2022 Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail. u2022 Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines. u2022 Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
