Position description The UCLA Department of Classics seeks to hire lecturers to fill at least two teaching positions for the 2026-27 academic year. Each successful candidate will teach courses in the material culture of the Greco-Roman world or ancient Greek language and culture. Successful candidates will also be welcome to suggest courses of their own devising. Applicants are required to hold a PhD by the start of the appointment.
