Job Description The Discipline Engineer u2013 Subject Matter Expert (SME) provides specialized technical expertise in power transformer health monitoring, diagnostics, and lifecycle management. This role supports reliability and asset health initiatives by analyzing condition data, identifying degradation trends and failure risks, and recommending proactive mitigation strategies. Working closely with field operations, transformer SMEs, and asset management engineering teams, the Discipline Engineer translates complex diagnostic data into actionable insights to inform maintenance planning, risk reduction, and capital investment decisions. Periodic field support may be required for onsite assessments and technical scoping.
