Anticipated Start Date of Work: 2026-04-01Anticipated End Date of Work: 2026-12-05Worksite Location(s): Work will be performed in multiple worksites throughout theCleveland area including the counties of Cuyahoga and Lorain.Job Description: Lift and move materials by hand. Pick up trash, place cones, install safetyfence and caution tape around work sites; Use hand tools to sweep work sites, assist skilledworkers on job site. Ability to lift/Carry 80 lbs. The type of materials that will be used toinstall the safety fence: Fence posts, zip ties, safety fence and tie wires. The type of safetyfence that will be installed: 4' plastic orange fencing The type of worksite the task will takeplace in: Construction sites where construction is taking place, such as building site,excavation sites and demolition sites. The type of skilled workers the employee will assist:The laborers will be assisting construction workers, such as demolition workers andcarpenters, and equipment operators. The equipment operators do not install fencing andrequired the assistance of the laborers to help prepare the job site and protect all employeesand general public from the work zones. The type of assistance the employee will providethese skill workers with: The laborers will install orange protective fencing by laying out fenceposts and install fence using hand pounders. Fencing will be attached to post using wire andzip ties. Repair fence during project duration if damaged. Remove fencing at completion ofproject by cutting wire with snippers and rolling up fence and posts by hand.Will daily transportation be provided?: Yes. Workers are responsible for dailytransportation to and from the designated pick-up location at the Cleveland office. Employerwill then provide each work crew with daily transportation among the worksite locations inCuyahoga and Lorain counties.Provision of Board/Lodging or Other Facilities: No.Is On-the-Job Training available?: No.If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will reimbursethe worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place ofwork. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, theemployer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation andsubsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except wherethe worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or wherethe employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment.The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the mosteconomical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily meals will beprovided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 perday with receipts.H-2B ASSURANCESDeductions from the Worker's Paycheck: The employer will make all deductions from theworker's paycheck required by law.First Workweek Reimbursement: Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for allvisa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by thegovernment (except passport fees).Provision of Tools, Supplies, and Equipment: The employer will provide workers at nocharge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.Single Workweek for Pay: The employer will use a single workweek as its standard forcomputing wages due.If you need in-person assistance with applying, please visit your local OhioMeansJobs center.
