Weekly Hours: 40 Role Number: 200657982-0836 Summary Our SoftGoods Project Management team is made up of Engineering Project Managers (EPM) and Project Specialists (EPS) within the Hardware Engineering organization. Description As an EPS in this role, you will be primarily focused on SoftGoods Watch Band programs related to Apple Watch. Your primary focuses will be structuring Bill of Materials (BOMs), reviewing PD drawings, creating and maintaining build matrices, communicating with suppliers, and creating/processing Engineering Change Orders (ECOs). You will also contribute to allocation management, maintaining Apple Security product requirements, and overseeing shipment logistics. Minimum Qualifications + BA/BS degree or 3+ years of industry experience + Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a large cross-functional team + Experience managing, organizing and maintaining large quantities of data + Critical thinking with detailed accuracy + Excellent communication (written and verbal) + Ability to react to re-sets and changes in a time sensitive environment + Combination of organizational and detail-oriented skills when working on multiple projects + Monitor material requirements to support builds + Ability to influence, effectively communicate and drive deadlines with vendors (either CM or part vendors) + Proficient in MS Excel, Agile and SAP + Understand configuration management + Understanding of complex Bill of Materials (preferably for hardware products) Preferred Qualifications + Experience working with overseas vendors preferred Apple is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
