Sr. Snowflake Developer This role involves designing developing and optimizing data solutions using Snowflake and Python technologies. The candidate will work in a hybrid model collaborating with teams to ensure seamless data integration and processing. The position requires expertise in Snowflake SQL Snowpipe and Python with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions. Responsibilities + Develop and implement scalable data solutions using Snowflake and Python to meet business requirements. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements for optimized solutions. + Design and maintain Snowflake tasks streams and pipelines to ensure efficient data processing and integration. + Optimize Snowflake SQL queries for performance and reliability in large-scale data environments. + Implement and manage Snowpipe for real-time data ingestion and processing workflows. + Provide technical expertise in Python scripting for data manipulation and automation tasks. + Monitor and troubleshoot Snowflake environments to ensure system stability and performance. + Document technical processes and workflows to maintain clarity and consistency across projects. + Ensure adherence to best practices in data security governance and compliance standards. + Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high-quality deliverables. + Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improving data solutions and workflows. + Stay updated with the latest advancements in Snowflake and Python technologies to enhance project outcomes. + Contribute to the companyu2019s mission by delivering impactful data solutions that drive informed decision-making. Qualifications + Possess strong expertise in Snowflake SQL Snowflake Streams Snowflake Tasks and Snowpipe for data processing and integration. + Demonstrate proficiency in Python programming for data manipulation automation and workflow optimization. + Have a solid understanding of data architecture principles and best practices for scalable solutions. + Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills to address technical challenges effectively. + Show experience in hybrid work environments collaborating with teams both remotely and on-site. + Display strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. + Hold a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in data engineering or software development with a maximum of 12 years. + Demonstrate familiarity with data security and governance standards to ensure compliance. + Showcase ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives. + Have a track record of delivering high-quality solutions within deadlines. + Exhibit adaptability to learn and implement new technologies as required. + Possess a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues in data workflows. + Show commitment to driving impactful results that align with the companys goals. Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until May 14, 2026, The annual salary for this position is between $ 80,000 - $ 109,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizantu2019s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizantu2019s applicable plans.
