The Role HII has an exciting opportuntiy for a Publice Relations Rep 2 at our Corporate office in Arlington, VA This role provides broad support across the Corporate Communications team through a combination of communications and marketing, operational, and administrative responsibilities. The position supports communications efforts across all channels, manages recurring department processes, assists with financial and vendor-related activities, and helps ensure the teamu2019s day-to-day operations run smoothly. This role also serves as a key support function for employee communications, leadership communications, news monitoring, budget coordination, and department operations. This position also requires occasional travel. Specific duties may include, but are not limited to, the following. u2022 Content strategy support and creation, including gathering, writing, editing, and distributing content for internal and external channels, including newsletters, emails, and documents including the Annual Report, Sustainability Report, and Report to the Community. u2022 Executive communications content creation and editing including emails, slide presentations, social media posts. u2022 Planning and coordination of corporate events including town halls, communications team meetings and other gatherings, team representation at trade shows. u2022 Financial/budget management support, including tracking spending, invoice processing, monitoring regular expenses, vendor coordination and onboarding, expense report processing. u2022 Logistics support for media tours and special events. u2022 Coordination of photo gathering, including logistics around photo and video shoots, and development of employee feature stories as needed. Supports management of digital asset manager platform. u2022 Oversight of HIIu2019s employee discount program and HIIu2019s company store. u2022 Supporting crisis communications planning, training, and responses as needed. u2022 Management of communications email inbox, including reviewing, routing and responding to requests. u2022 Management of department processes and procedures. Must Have Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of relevant exempt experience; Masteru2019s Degree and 1 years of relevant professional experience Nice to Have u2022 Strong writing, communication, organizational, and timeu2011management skills. u2022 Creative problem-solving skills, interpersonal relations and presentation skills, and can-do attitude. u2022 Working knowledge of social media platforms and best practices. u2022 Knowledge of AP style writing. u2022 Experience in Canva, the Adobe Creative Suite, MS 365. u2022 Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a demanding environment.
