This position provides technical support to multiple internal departments including Commercial, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Network Optimization, and Credit. The Customer Systems Specialist is knowledgeable in multiple systems and has a full understanding of the order process from point of sale to shipment. Salary, based on experience and other qualifications: $21.16/hr - $36.05/hr with additional bonus potential Roles & Responsibilities: + Understands the end-to-end sales process to support processes, including, but not limited to product sample requests, customer EDI order support, Customer Master Data and Pricing Record Maintenance. + Maintains knowledge of the various ERP systems and how the data elements support the customer order management process. + Reviews and maintains data tables that support order processing to ensure accuracy and consistency. + Maintains knowledge of product samples process through continuous improvement processes and daily maintenance. + Utilizes SAP tools and Business Intelligence (BI) including Power BI to maintain customer determination tables, pricing, and EDI. + Uses SAP reports to audit current pricing and correct as needed to ensure new pricing is appropriate. + Provides information required to generate data quality metrics and performance indicators. + Works with our Business Partners to maintain pricing tables, understanding delivery methods, weight brackets, effective dates, and product changes; and how they affect pricing. + Performs the day-to-day activities of creating and maintaining customer data as per the defined processes and transforms the information efficiently and effectively utilizing Winshuttle for automated entry into SAP when possible. + Provides customer data setup and support for EDI workflow. + Set up and maintain Customer Material Info Record (CMIR), material substitution records, and DUNS tables. + Assists with the maintenance of standard operating procedures. + The duties and responsibilities described are not a comprehensive list of all tasks. Qualifications & Experience: + High School degree required; Associate degree preferred (Supply Chain, Business, or related field). + A minimum of two years of experience in customer service is preferred. + Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. + Ability to use sound judgment when making service-oriented decisions that have financial implications required. + Flexibility, adaptability, being highly analytical, and the ability to work in a high-change environment are required. + Knowledge of Microsoft Office is required; knowledge of SAP system is preferred. + Ability to manage multiple tasks while paying close attention to details is required. + Can maintain a high degree of accuracy/interaction with multiple departments while coordinating requests. + Ability to perform repetitive motions 90% of the time required: PC Keyboard + Ability to work occasional overtime is required and/or occasional travel. + Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
