Schedule PRN: Floater position may be asked to work in all regions. Rotating shifts, weekends General Summary Fills prescriptions, routine orders for medications and prepackaged pharmaceuticals and performs other related duties. Essential Functions: + Assists pharmacists as directed including filling orders and preparing labels. + Assists patient, taking prescription, necessary information, etc. Operates cash register. Delivers medications as needed. + Submits and receives orders from suppliers. + Enters and/or retrieves data from established computer files using knowledge of various computer software applications. + Assists with I.V. preparation and delivery. + Trains other employees in day to day procedures. + Participates in the performance evaluation process for Technician I and Driver. + Position shares responsibility with other team members for daily delivery of patient medications to a Script Center in Mt. Gretna, PA. (Applies only to staff working at Good Samaritan Pharmacy location only; Department 43514).
