Mayo Clinic is excited to offer an opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our GI Oncology team. In this role, you will work with MDs, other PAs/NPs, and providing direction to various allied health staff. You will work five days a week alongside six physicians and one advanced practice provider, allowing you to work at the highest level of your education and expertise. Responsibilities: As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at Mayo Clinic, you will perform a variety of tasks, including: Conducting comprehensive assessments Ordering, conducting, and interpreting diagnostic tests Formulating a diagnostic impression Developing and implementing a treatment plan Monitoring the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions Prescribing pharmacological agents and treatments Implementing non-pharmacological therapies Offering counseling and education to meet patient needs During the selection process you may participate in an OnDemand (pre-recorded) interview that you can complete at your convenience. During the OnDemand interview, a question will appear on your screen, and you will have time to consider each question before responding. You will have the opportunity to re-record your answer to each question - Mayo Clinic will only see the final recording. The complete interview will be reviewed by a Mayo Clinic staff member and you will be notified of next steps.
