Job Summary and Qualifications: TheHouse Supervisorassumesshiftaccountability for the clinicaland administrative functionsof the hospital including, patient throughput, nurse staffing, transfer of patients in and out and overall supervision of nursing practice.The House Supervisoralsofacilitatescollaboration across departments and is available as a resource to all staff members working in the hospital for nightshift,weekendsand holidays.The incumbent must demonstrate knowledge of hospital administration, nursing services,clinical services,and informationtechnology and customer relations.The House Supervisorserves asthe nursing and hospital representativeandengages selfwith all other department heads in ensuring high quality patient care and customer service. The incumbent is accountable for overall fiscal management of the respective department including all operational expenses (man-hour, materials/supplies) andotherexpenditures.
