Accounting Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Loan Administrator. In this role, you will manage various aspects of loan servicing and financial recordkeeping to maintain the accuracy and integrity of our accounts. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage all aspects of loan servicing, including posting payments, disbursements, and updating account records to ensure data accuracy. u2022 Complete monthly reconciliation of loan accounts to maintain financial integrity. u2022 Monitor and analyze the active loan portfolio to identify trends and areas of concern. u2022 Conduct risk rating evaluations for both existing loans and new loan applications in collaboration with the Senior Lending Officer. u2022 Identify potential issues in loans under management, such as late payments or changes in leadership, and recommend appropriate interventions. u2022 Review and track commercial loan documentation to ensure all original documents are received and properly recorded. u2022 Collaborate with the Controller to coordinate the timing and funding requirements for upcoming loan closings. u2022 Perform analytics on the loan portfolio to support decision-making and reporting. u2022 Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations. u2022 Handle additional duties as assigned to support the accounting team. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or a similar accounting role. u2022 Proficiency in data entry and invoice processing with a high level of accuracy. u2022 Familiarity with managing approved loans and loan servicing processes. u2022 Strong analytical skills and the ability to perform portfolio analysis. u2022 Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks effectively. u2022 Knowledge of commercial loan documentation and compliance requirements. u2022 Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders. u2022 Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
