Job Title: Assembler Job Description We are seeking a skilled assembler responsible for the assembly, inspection, and packaging of products. The role involves manually applying epoxy, conformal coating, and silicone to parts, using hand and power tools based on work orders, completing documentation, and conducting final inspections before packaging and shipping products. Responsibilities + Assemble products using hand and power tools according to work orders. + Inspect parts and apply epoxy, conformal coating, and silicone manually. + Complete documentation and adhere to work order instructions. + Conduct final inspections before packaging and shipping products. Essential Skills + Six months of electronic assembly experience. + Ability to read blueprints and schematics. + Soldering skills, including J-standard certification. + Experience with electronic assembly and wiring. + Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools. + Ability to navigate a computer and conduct documentation tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications + ITAR certification. + Ability to cross-train and work in different departments. + Must be able to read, write, and speak English. + Ability to see all shades of color (not color blind). + Good hand-eye coordination and ability to work with small parts. Work Environment This role is set in a clean environment where employees are required to wear a smock, safety glasses, and a static guard band. The position requires standing for the entire shift, which is typically 8-10 hours a day. The work involves handling small parts and may include exposure to solder smoke. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Peter, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.50/hr.
