Sql Developer *State Medicaid Experience Preferred

Description Application Developer (SQL Developer) Position Details: Employees in this class are responsible for new development and maintenance of the existing application for Eligibility & Enrollment (CARES) in Alabama Medicaid Agency. Responsible for systems analysis, design and development. Responsible for performing moderately to highly complex programming and systems analysis work on projects with integrated systems that impact multiple applications to support end-user needs. Requires full proficiency in Microsoft SQL server TSQL to create Stored Procedures. SSIS ETL packages, Unit tests, Documentation of developed code. Status updates as requested by the Project Manager and Development Manager. Required Skills for SQL developer: u2022 Requires full proficiency in T-SQL as identified by the development manager Deliverables u2022 Develop new SSIS/SSRS packages to meet business needs u2022 Create Stored Procedures u2022 SSIS ETL Packages u2022 Unit tests u2022 Documentation of developed code u2022 Status updates as requested by the Project Manager and Development Manager u2022 Create moderate to advance T u2013 SQL Stored Procedures and Triggers. u2022 Ability to write moderate and advance SQL commands. u2022 Ability to test and troubleshoot database procedures and ETL Packages. u2022 Excellent written and verbal communication skills u2022 Data analysis, task and workflow analysis u2022 SQL Servers latest version u2022 Hands-on with all aspects of the System Development Life Cycle u2022 Assisting with interviews when required Experience Required: u2022 5 years of experience in software development experience using SQL Server u2022 5 years of experience in database development u2022 5 years of experience in ETL development u2022 5 years of experience in tools used for software development (e.g., Visual Studio, Chrome Developer Tools, SSRS) u2022 Experience using TFS/Azure Devops as Source Control u2022 Experience with Agile Scrum project development methodology and able to apply methodology in a practical manner. Education Required: u2022 Bacheloru2019s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field.
