What you will do: P&W North Berwick Aero Systems (NBAS) is looking for a CMM Programmer to provide Inspection Solutions for the Mod Center. + Responsibilities include but are not limited to: + Support the CMM Programming technical team in ensuring product and process compliance by providing CMM Programming solutions per our quality systems and requirements + Complete CMM Programming related requests + Foster and maintain a cooperative relationship with Module Center departments including other Quality and Manufacturing personnel + Drive product and process improvements + Drive a culture of continuous improvement through use of CORE tools (Standard Work, DIVE, mistake proofing, etc) + Participate in the implementation of new inspection technologies that achieve process, reliability and productivity improvements Qualifications you must have: + Bachelors Degree, or equivalent experience with 2 years of CMM programming experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with CMM Programming Experience + U.S. Citizen - The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance Qualifications we prefer: + Technical Knowledge of CMM Programming software, with a primary focus on Hexagon PC Dmis + Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) + Technical Knowledge of Zeiss Calypso CMM Programming software + Experience in Quality, Manufacturing and/or Engineering with a minimum of 1 year in the aerospace industry + An understanding of P&W Quality Procedures, Quality Management Systems, AS9100 u2022 Product knowledge of aerospace parts + Knowledge and experience in data analysis and problem solving using Six Sigma, Red X and process control Tools + Experience in using ACE/CORE tools to make process improvements in a manufacturing environment What is my role type?
