The Impact : Manage, mentor and coach the team of relationship managers responsible for maintaining and growing S&Pu2019s US Public Finance revenue across existing clients and unrated entities.Set a clear, inspiring vision aligned to the Commercial Ratings strategy and motivate the team to achieve it through disciplined execution, curiosity, and continuous improvement.Directly manage and build on relationships with strategic client accounts and Financial Advisors. Develop the business growth strategies for US Public Finance and accountable for achievement of group revenue goals as well as maximizing the efficiency and effectiveness of the team.You will be a visible leader in the marketu2014strengthening our position with issuers, intermediaries, and influencers while elevating how we win through value, insight, and partnership. Responsibilities: + Provide strategic leadership and direction to the US Public Finance sales team, Financial Advisors, and sector influencers ensuring alignment with the broader businessobjectiveswithinthe Commercialand Ratings division.Translate market and client insights into a forward-looking agenda that accelerates growth and buildsa durablecompetitive advantage. + Lead and manage, mentor and coach the team of US Public Finance relationship managers cultivating a thriving environment fostering strong collaboration, premium customer service, and team professional development.Coach, develop, and empower others to maximize performance,buildsuccession, strength,and a culture of accountabilityand trust. + Create and develop strategic sales plan for increased growth of S&P Ratings overall and US Public Finance revenue across the existing client base as well as through acquisition of new clients based on opportunity assessments, market needs and management and finance goalswith a long-term, sustainable value-creation mindset. + Direct responsibility for driving overall revenue from existing strategic clients. Instill and enforce planning, activity, pipeline development,processand reporting standards within the relationship teamfor flawless execution. + Represent S&P Global Ratingsu2019 US Public Finance commercial organization externally with key issuer and intermediary stakeholders as well as at Public Finance industry events and conferences delivering S&P Global value propositionas a confident, credible subject matter leader who influences and strengthens our market presence. + Maintain strong internal relationships and ongoing dialogue with US Public Finance analytical leadership ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate governance requirements in all sales activitieswhile collaborating beyond team boundaries to solve complex client needswith integrity + Lead in difficult escalated negotiations of commercial and contractual deals for strategic client opportunities and have oversight of pricing negotiations. + Continuously drive account plans of each team member focused on performance improvement through effective metrics and continuous team developmentand proactively remove barriers so the team can do their best work. + Foster cross-functional collaboration with other regions and functions toleverageresources andexpertiseacross the organizationto build alignment, gain stakeholder buy-in, and deliver outcomes at enterprise scale. + Maintain awareness of market and industry trends, review all available collateral frommarketing,and develop an understanding of the competitive situationtoidentifyopportunities for growth and innovation ahead of market shifts. + Promote a culture of excellence and innovation within the team, encouraging professional growth and talent managementthrough new thinking, constructivechallenges, and continuous learning,creating an environment where top talent thrives. + All employeesare required towork from theofficea minimum of 2 days per weekto strengthen collaboration, accelerate decision-making, and buildstrong teamconnection. Compensation/Benefits Information: _Applicable for_ _US Candidates_ _only:_ S&P Global states that the anticipated range of compensation for this position is $200,000 to $260,000. Final compensation for this role will be based on the individualu2019s performance, geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications.
