Job Title: Lab TechnicianJob Description We are seeking a skilled Lab Technician with experience in microbiology to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in laboratory procedures and be capable of performing a variety of microbiological tasks with precision and efficiency. Responsibilities + Conduct pH testing of micro samples to ensure quality control. + Prepare media for microbial testing. + Perform pour plating and streak plating techniques for microbial culture. + Conduct Gram staining to identify and classify microorganisms. + Execute serial dilution and enumeration of microbial suspensions. + Maintain good aseptic technique to prevent contamination. Essential Skills + Proficiency in microbiology laboratory techniques. + Strong understanding of aseptic techniques. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in a microbiology lab or equivalent setting is preferred. Work Environment Work in a laboratory setting with appropriate safety equipment. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to all safety protocols. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Columbus, OH.
