Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Multi Craft Maintenance Technician Job Description Join our team as a Multi Craft Maintenance Technician in a clean and dynamic environment dedicated to battery manufacturing. Your role will be crucial in maintaining, troubleshooting, and ensuring the optimal performance of our electrical systems and machinery. Responsibilities + Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and equipment in a manufacturing facility. + Ensure optimal performance of electrical systems efficiently and safely, minimizing production downtime. + Install and wire new electrical systems at or below 480V for manufacturing equipment and machinery. + Conduct regular maintenance checks and inspections on electrical systems. + Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in electrical circuits, control systems, motors, etc., and provide necessary repairs. + Repair or replace faulty components such as wiring, circuit breakers, switches, and motors. + Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations for electrical installations and repairs. + Collaborate with maintenance teams, engineers, and production to coordinate electrical work on machines or systems. + Perform lock-out/tag-out procedures and other safety protocols when working on electrical equipment. + Maintain accurate records of electrical repairs, maintenance, and inspections, and complete maintenance logs and reports. Work Environment Work the 1st shift from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, in a small team of only four technicians, ensuring a collaborative and supportive atmosphere. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $39.00/hr.
