Job Description Overview: Insight Global is seeking a Network Manager to lead and support hospital network operations while remaining highly handsu2011on with Layer 1u20133 infrastructure. This role is ideal for a senior network engineer ready to step into management, or a current team lead looking for a clear path into infrastructure leadership. u2003 The Network Manager will oversee a small team of strong but developing engineers, acting as both technical authority and mentor, particularly as the organization moves through network upgrades and refresh initiatives that will be new territory for the team. This is a great steppingu2011stone role for a Level 3 engineer or NOC team lead ready to move into management. u2003 Responsibilities: u2003u2022 Provide Level 3 network support across: Layer 1 (physical connectivity), Layer 2 (switching), and Layer 3 (routing) u2003u2022 Serve as the technical escalation point for complex network issues u2003u2022 Be actively handsu2011on with configuration, troubleshooting, and network changes u2003u2022 Support, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco network infrastructure u2003u2022 Lead and support network upgrades and refreshes u2003u2022 Ensure high availability and performance of hospital network services u2003u2022 Partner with infrastructure, systems, and application teams to resolve crossu2011domain issues u2003u2022 Directly manage and mentor 3 network team members u2003u2022 Guide engineers through unfamiliar territory (upgrades, refreshes, modernization) u2003u2022 Provide patience, coaching, and knowledgeu2011sharing to mature team capabilities u2003u2022 Help establish better practices, documentation, and operational consistency u2003u2022 Participate in escalation only when needed after junior and senior resources u2003u2022 Support 24/7 hospital operations with readiness to engage during critical incidents We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
