Job Skills / Requirements Starting pay for this position is $17.00/hour. The schedule for this position is for a flex officer who is available for coverage between the timeframes of Monday-Friday, 0600-2300 or Weekends 0600-2300, any shift. The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of people, property, and assets at the assigned site. This role requires a heightened level of awareness, professionalism, and the ability to respond effectively to security incidents. The security officer will monitor access points, patrol designated areas, enforce site rules, and assist in emergency response situations. A floater security officer is expected to work different posts and different schedules, based on shift openings and availability. Responsibilities u00b7 Monitor and control access to buildings, facilities, or restricted areas. u00b7 Conduct regular foot and/or vehicle patrols to ensure site safety. u00b7 Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or security incidents. u00b7 Write detailed and accurate incident reports. u00b7 Enforce rules, regulations, and procedures as directed by site management. u00b7 Assist with emergency evacuations and provide support during crises. u00b7 Observe and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or potential threats. u00b7 Operate security equipment such as CCTV systems, radios, and alarm panels. u00b7 Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and clients in a professional manner. u00b7 Work collaboratively with law enforcement, fire, or medical personnel when needed.
