Description The Strategy Manager of Vulnerability Management & Enterprise Security leads the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of the organizationu2019s enterprise security and vulnerability management programs. This role oversees teams responsible for protecting corporate systems, data, and infrastructure from emerging threats while enabling the business to operate securely and efficiently. The Senior Manager partners closely with Technology, Legal, Compliance, and business leaders to reduce risk, operationalize controls, and mature the security posture. u2022 Develop and execute enterprise vulnerability management strategies aligned with organizational objectives. u2022 Establish metrics, KPIs, and dashboards for reporting on program maturity and security posture. u2022 Champion a securityu2011byu2011design mindset across engineering and business functions. u2022 Lead, mentor, and grow a multidisciplinary team across vulnerability management, enterprise security, and related functions. u2022 Drive operational excellence with structured processes, documentation, automation, and continuous improvement. u2022 Own program roadmaps, annual planning, staffing needs, and budget management. u2022 Partner with security operations, incident response, threat intelligence, identity security, cloud security, and GRC teams. u2022 Lead enterprise vulnerability management programs, ensuring timely remediation across infrastructure, SaaS, cloud, containers, and endpoint environments. u2022 Serve as Senior technical authority guiding vulnerability engineering across Kubernetes, cloud workloads, microservices, and corporate systems. u2022 Ensure security agents, detection tooling, and telemetry pipelines are fully operational and properly configured. u2022 Serve as trusted advisor to executives and business leaders on security risks and tradeu2011offs. u2022 Embed security into technology roadmaps, product lifecycles, enterprise architecture, and vendor management. u2022 Drive security awareness initiatives and training across the enterprise. Additional Skills & Qualifications u2022 Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in vulnerability management, with 5+ years in a leadership role. u2022 Strong understanding of vulnerability management and enterprise security best practices. u2022 Ability to communicate complex security topics to executives and non-technical stakeholders. u2022 Deep familiarity with NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, and Zero Trust. u2022 Proven experience managing multiple security initiatives simultaneously. u2022 Hybrid or remote work flexibility aligned to company policy. u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Security Management, or related field. u2022 Experience working in SaaS, cloud-native, or regulated global environments. u2022 Experience with e-discovery or litigation technology. u2022 Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC, CCSP, AZ-500, SC-300. u2022 Experience securing cloud-native applications and SaaS platforms. u2022 Strong automation experience in Python or PowerShell. u2022 Knowledge of Zero Trust principles and modern compliance frameworks. u2022 Excellent communication, detailu2011orientation, and ability to lead complex programs. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $95.00/hr.
