Demonstrating a strong level of communication and interpersonal skills, a Server will be processing orders and serving food and beverage items to customers, ensuring 100% guest satisfaction. Ideal candidates have flexible schedules with availability to work weekends and holidays, as needed.Responsibilities:Maintain a professional appearance at all timesProvide prompt and efficient customer serviceDisplay knowledge of the F&B menuTake guestsu0027 food and/or drink orders and turn in to kitchen, bar, etc.Serve beverages and prepared meals to guests in an accurate and timely mannerAdhere to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies including confirming legal drinking age and discontinuing service to intoxicated guestsCheck back to ensure guest satisfaction; replenish items as necessarySuggest and serve dessert, coffee and other items as applicableHandle all cash and/or credit cards for payment following all standard operating proceduresKeep tables, dining room and workstation(s) sanitized and organizedListen and respond to customer complaintsPerform clean-up and closing procedures as assigned by managerPerform all other duties as assigned by a supervisor or managerEducation and Experience Requirements:1-2 years of food service experienceMinimum education: High school diploma or equivalentA thorough understanding of fine and casual diningMust be of legal age to serve liquor according to state lawMust possess excellent customer service skillsMust be dependableMust be able to work in a fast-paced environmentMust have strong communication and interpersonal skillsMust be able to work in a team environmentWorking Conditions:Physical activity including long periods (6-8 hours) of standing, walking, bending, and scoopingThe employee will be required regularly to reach with arms and handsThe employee will occasionally be required to lift up to 30 lbsUse of sight, reading, and wrist movement to serve meals and beverages, operate food service equipment and clean food service areasSpecific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, and depth perceptionNoise level is moderateThe employee will be expected to work extended hours during golf and holiday seasonThe employee will be expected to work weekends and holidays About Troon:Founded in 1990 and headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ, Troon is the worldu0027s largest professional club management company, specializing in services in golf, hospitality, and residential communities.
