Position Details As a Product Manager, you will support First Bank in becoming the bank of choice for families and businesses in the markets we serve by building and managing a best-in-class product set that meets the needs of our clients. You will lead the success of a family of products through their full lifecycle by tapping into the voice of the customer to fully understand customer needs and expectations, building strong relationships with internal and external partners, analyzing product data, creating and executing on comprehensive product strategy and working with sales and marketing teams to optimize product performance, including product revenue. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Collaboration with the multiple frontline employees and customers to gain a clear understanding of customer needs and expectations Analyze and manage the performance of existing products, services and vendors Identify new products and services that would benefit customers and the bank and lead product implementation from business case to launch and ongoing performance management Responsible for developing a testing agenda to improve products; with a strong understanding and use of statistical model ( testing designs which can produce results that are statistically significant to share with key stakeholders) Work with assigned vendors to negotiate contracts, ensure partnership performance and bank awareness of all product and service offerings and how they add value Work with BI team to establish appropriate product reporting for product performance management Establish and execute on product strategy and roadmap with clear timeline and deliverable due dates Review product pricing and fees, ongoing, presenting the business case for any recommended pricing changes and executing on changes approved Partner with sales and marketing to establish an annual marketing and product promotion plan and schedule based on customer behaviors to assist sales teams in achieving bank goals and drive product revenue Actively participate in the project management of all new product and service implementations Assist other departments with non-product projects if requested, as bandwidth allows Function as the bank’s subject matter expert on assigned product family, including product details, market conditions, regulatory requirements and risks Other duties as assigned What Do You Need for this Position? A.) from four-year college or university required, with an MBA preferred. We are also looking for an individual with a minimum of 7 years of experience working with product family of focus, similar product family in either a sales or product management capacity high analytical acumen and strong technical skills; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proven leadership skills and an entrepreneurial mindset are essential. Strong communication and positioning skills and sound business judgement.
